Official language of Proposal 10-1!

Election day is only 49 days away. I want to give you the official language of what Proposal 10-1 (the question of a Constitutional Convention) would look like. I'm doing this so you would be clear about the ballot as you vote on November 2nd. Before I do, however, I want to tell you about an Email I received from Gene Clem, the spokesman for the Michigan Tea Party Alliance. I sent him my ideas of what a new Michigan Constitution would look like. He liked my ideas, and I thinked him for it. I hope I could inspire the MTPA to rally against the special interest groups - like the unions and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce - so regular citizens can dominate the convention.

Now here's the official ballot language of Proposal 10-1:

PROPOSAL 10-1
A PROPOSAL TO CONVENE A CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION FOR THE PURPOSE OF DRAFTING A GENERAL REVISION OF THE STATE CONSTITUTION.
Shall a convention of elected delegates be convened in 2011 to draft a general revision of the state Constitution for presentation to the state's voters for their approval or rejection?
____YES ____NO
I hope you vote YES on Proposal 10-1 because we need real and positive changes in our government.
